As many teams approach the 10-game mark next week, fantasy rankings can now start to shift away from relying heavily on preseason and last-season projections. As the season progresses, these rankings will increasingly focus on individual player performance rates, historical data, and similar player metrics rather than preseason expectations.
These rankings predict fantasy points from Friday, Oct. 25, through the season’s end. Points are based on ESPN Fantasy’s standard game: skaters earn 2 points for goals, 1 for assists, 0.1 for shots and hits, and 0.5 for blocked shots and special-team points. For goalies, wins are worth 4 points, OT losses 1, shutouts 3, saves 0.2, and goals against -2 points.
